Outstanding patina

Many years of age related character, the top back edge of the head neck has some missing cast iron/crack(hidden when viewed from front...see the last photo), some surface rust, pitting, nicks, as you would expect with a fine antique iron casting

This eagle proudly stands on its feet & is very stable 

This could be used as a doorstop, not exactly sure what it was made/used for but it is an amazing decorative collectible!!

I think it would look wonderful displayed on a fireplace mantle or bookcase or wherever you could showcase it's beauty

Surface texture is consistent with being sand cast

Eagle is solid cast iron & weighs 5 lbs.

Perfect with any antiques, primitives or folk art collections
