This very pretty sterling silver tea or coffee spoon is in very good condition.
There are no dings to the bowl and the barley twist handle is straight. The
few specks of tarnish which may be visible will polish off. This spoon is
unique due to the finial at the end of the handle. It depicts a Kookaburra
with a snake hanging from its beak. The spoon is stamped on the back of
the bowl, "NCE Stg Sil 925." I have not been able to determine who this
maker might have been, however, due to the subject matter, I believe
that the spoon was produced in Australia.
