This lovely case set of hallmarked sterling silver coffee spoons is in very good
condition. They appear to have had little if any wear. The handle ends each
have a mother of pearl bean, and each spoon is hallmarked on the back of the
bowl. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1957. The makers' initials, "JD&S"
indicate they were produced by James Dixon and Sons. They sit inside a
faux chagreen case lined with black velvet and ivory silk.
