This is high quality professional reproduction of an extremely hard-to-find item that has been out of print for about four decades.  It now can be purchased for just $29.95 US Dollars - and with FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING!  This Kawasaki 500 - H1E Owner's Manual is correct for the 1974 H1-E and it even includes the hard-to-find fold-out wiring diagram attached inside the rear cover, just like the OEM handbook!  The nomenclature on the back cover proves it was printed in July 1973 and inside it features (black and white) pictures of the classic 1974 H1E.  Please note I will also sell the 1975 H1-F handbook and there are several noticeable differences between it and this handbook (it features different pictures, a few different narrative sections, and different page numbering as it is five pages longer).  If you are looking for these or other H1 or H2 Rider's Handbook / Owner's Manual editions please periodically check my other items for sale.  Rider's Handbooks (owner's manuals), tool kits, and repair or parts manuals help to complete the vintage motorcycle experience.  Shouldn't you purchase this high quality rider's handbook for your legendary Kawasaki 500 H1E Triple Two-Stroke?  Even if you own an original copy, you should consider purchasing one of these high quality reproductions to keep on your motorcycle or in the tool box.  Then, just store the original in a safe, dry place at home!  There are additional details about this replica handbook below, including FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING details.  Please read these additional details, but if you have any other questions before making your purchase decision, feel free to contact me.

The first seven photos above show the reproduction which is for sale in this auction.  The last photo #8 shows the cover of the reproduction next to an ORIGINAL handbook which is NOT for sale. The basis for this replica manual was an original 7500-H1E Owner's Manual that was printed in July 1973 according to the nomenclature on the back cover (it's part number is 99997-811).  The first step in the process was to make a professional, high-resolution scan of an original that was in good condition.  Then, "artwork" was performed on it to remove any visible flaws, smudges, oils stains, etc...  Next, a dilligent search was made to match the quality and color of the paper.  The most challenging part of the handbook reproduction process is related to matching the color and texture of the cover, and after extensive research into paper stocks it was concluded that an exact match of the cover color and texture would be very challenging.  One can never say the color and texture of the cover paper stock of a reproduction is an "exact" match to an original - but in this instance it's as close as possible and the printer did a superb job (see photos above).  I should also add that this reproduction incorporates some of the same minor flaws that are in all the originals like: certain minor imperfections and/or inconsistencies in the text / font size and color (see photo #2 of "Forward" section for an example); and occassional minor typographical errors like a letter, comma, or period out of place.  But unlike the dull, faded, stained, and/or ripped and worn covers and pages we are all used to on our original manuals, the cover and pages in this replica are brand new, a very close color match to the original, and are much more durable.  There might be some very minor differences between this H1E handbook and other print runs of the same handbook (on different dates), but if there are any I am not aware of them at this time.  Please note this book only addresses the CDI model bikes as there is no mention of ignition points in this book.  Also note that this handbook has 74 numbered pages plus two blank "memo" pages and fold-out wiring diagram (it costs more to produce and ship), so its price is somewhat higher than the early H1 handbook reproductions I sell (27+/- pages and no fold-out wiring diagram).

KAWASAKI COLLECTORS DEMAND THE BEST, SO BASED ON SOME SUGGESTIONS FROM THE TRIPLES COMMUNITY I SHOULD ALSO TELL YOU WHAT THIS HANDBOOK REPRODUCTION IS NOT!  In short, this is not a "blurry" 8.5" X 11" photocopy that was printed from a low-resolution "PDF" that was downloaded off the internet.  A key difference between this reproduction and those PDFs is the fact that those PDFs do not feature the wiring diagram like this reproduction.  And, this reproduction handbook has been professionally reproduced to match as many details of the original as possible, to include the size (approx. 4.25" X 6"), grade, color, and texture of the paper it's printed on - and again, this reproduction has the unique fold-out wiring diagram inside the back cover!!!  All the artwork (photos, graphics, typeset) and paper stock have been painstakingly reproduced - and all flaws have been removed from the pages.  This replica has no crooked pages; no signs of rips or tears; no fingerprints; no oil and grease marks; no handwriting; no smudged or obscured printing, etc...  When comparing this replica to an original the only thing you will notice is that the original will look old, worn, and/or faded and this replica looks like a brand new handbook.  For example, the size and placing of the staples holding the book together have even been carefully matched!  The interior pages are smooth, glossy, and bright white just like the originals, and they feature crisp vintage photographs.
