MD80 Static FTD (Fixed training device) Flight Simulator.

Originally belonged to the Alitalia training center in Fiumicino

like DC9 I-DIKA who educated and coached all the DC9 pilots of the time.

The cockpit consists of:

-shell that faithfully reproduces the DC9-80 on a 1:1 scale with the instructor part

  and passenger seats (if there is no space, the two parts detach)

- Original MD80 panels and instruments + replicas of panels with fidelity and functionality

  100%.

- all flight controls worked

- instructor station for management of breakdowns and weather situations

- 3 x 65" 4k TVs

- 2 PCs

  1 dedicated to visual (i9 10900kf + GTX3090 NVME disks)

  1 dedicated to slave instrumentation with 12 mini monitors

- Prepar3D v5 platform + Leonardo Maddog Professional.

It was used in our experience center suitable for flight enthusiasts

which have a space to allocate with a size of 5x3 MT wide x 2.5 MT H.

Il cockpit è composto da:

- postazione istruttore gestione delle avarie e situazioni meteo

- 3 x TV da 65" in 4k

- 2 PC

- Piattaforma Prepar3D v5 + Leonardo Maddog Professional.

E' stato usato nel nostro centro per experience adatto ad appassionati di volo

che hanno uno spazio da destinare con ingombro 5x3 MT di larghezza x 2.5 MT di H.
