A cast metal alloy alms bowl (Thabeik) decorated with embossed figurative sections
depicting figures: people and animals within Indo-Islamic scalloped arches.
A thick and heavy bowl was made rough work by an ancient methods of sand casting.
There is a thick corrosive patina on the bottom inside of the bowl.
The outside shows a patina of different colors according to the composition of the metals.
It looks like a very old thabeik from the last few centuries, I don't have an exact indication.
Approx 54mm height, 94mm at widest, 4mm thickness, 430g.
