ON HOLD FOR JESUS!!

This VERY High Quality Collector Quality Huipil was Handwoven on a Back Strap Loom in the community of the San Andres Larrainzar in the Highlands of Chiapas.  This tunic is a subtle Cream color Huipil with the details done in Gray. This is a traditional Ceremonial Huipil from a remote Mayan village.  I purchased this huipil directly from Fidencia Perez Hernandez the Mayan woman who wove this extraordinary garment.  It's a real beauty!!!

This heavy weight cotton measures 34 inches across (total 68 inches around) and 40 inches Long.

Ceremonial Huipils are meant to be very Large, and will fit a Medium to 3XL size woman.   The Back and Front are Identical...

See photo # 6 to see how these huipils are also used in religious processions.

This huipil is a great Statement piece reflecting various fashion trends; Boho Chic, Santa Fe Style, Hippie, Cow Girl, Frida Kahlo inspired an of course Traditional Mexican Fiesta wear!!!

This is a Win Win scenario. You get to own a beautiful hand woven Huipil, while supporting these Mayan women save their cultural heritage and traditions.
