This is an original 1948 Revised Edition hardcover copy of the wood shop textbook "Machine Woodworking," written by Robert E. Smith and published by McKnight & McKnight. Containing about 150 pages and dozens of photos and illustrations, it is an excellent look at woodworking methods of 75+ years ago; since its teachings can be used today by anyone desiring to build one's own furniture, cabinetry, molding, structures, etc., it has not only historical but also practical value. Topics covered can be seen on the contents pages in my 8th & 9th photos.

Overall, the copy being offered is in fair vintage condition. In my first four photos, you'll see that the covers have discoloration and noticeable wear, especially in the corners and at the top & bottom of the spine. Inside, the pages are crisp, strongly bound, and mostly clean, with occasional stains & smudges and a few stray marks; a previous owner's address label is also attached to the inside of the front cover.

Please review my photos and feel free to message me if you have any questions or if you would like to see more photos; the book shown in the photos is the exact book you will receive.
