Furthermore, the shape of the aluminum die-cast section was optimized through repeated detailed simulations in pursuit of lower vibration, and reinforced ribs were added to increase rigidity. These measures have resulted in a vibration damping characteristic more than twice that of the SL-1200MK6*.
Tone arm designed for superior initial response sensitivity and tracing performance, achieving a high initial response sensitivity of less than 5mg compared to 7mg of the SL-1200MK6.
