Argentovivo POPELIN, Style: W333C.5E Rosa Bustier: The pink satin of this bustier is very sumptuous, lined inside for added body. This bustier has two covered bones from the top of the cups, two thirds of the way down, where the bones finish the front panels flare outwards and downwards to the covered bones at the side seams. From the side seams the back is open and swoops down to the top of the bottom where there are two short covered bones in the pink satin, with loops on the inner edge through which pale pink cord is threaded, this has a sheen to it, similar to the lace up cord at the front, and over the cups. The bottom edge of the bustier is smooth, there is a single line of pink stitching holding the pink satin to the pink lining inside. The cups are in two sections with a vertical central seam, inside and out, they are lightly padded with pink fabric embedded with Silfresh (R), and also have a separate pink pocket where beige pads may be inserted for added boost. There is no underband and there are no underwires. The outside of the cups are in satin with a panel of pink mesh with a lace up detail of pale pink cord with a sheen. Both sides of this panel are edged with soft gold embroidery with a repeat loop pattern, finishing in soft waves facing inwards with pink embroidered flowers nestling in the dips of the waves. Another band of the gold embroidery on pink mesh edges the top of the cups, rising over the edge with soft waves. The reason this bustier is unwired is because across the back the doubled over pink satin front straps rise up, cross over the back of the head and are then threaded through pink loops to criss cross the back and tie up at the bottom. The first loop down the back that they thread through is in line with the bottom seam under the padded cups, this will hold the bust in place. The back panel down to the bottom bones with the pale pink cord, is edged over the outside with a separate double band of pink satin, sewn in place with a double row of pink stitching. I found dressing the mannequin interesting, I tried it first over the arms but that was too rigid, I did find it easier just to loosen off both the top and bottom back lacings and then it could be shimmied over the bottom quite easily, then put the straps over the head and tie them in the small of the back and at the back of the bottom.
