This is a lovely, handmade, fully hand embroidered women's vest. It was made in the 1970's and is kept in a very good condition, without damages of any kind. It was part of a wedding costume and was used only once or a few times. This is a vest with unique looks and pattern of embroidery made by Ottoman influence in style, pattern and embroidery technique used in the Ottoman Empire. The whole vest is hand embroidered with gold thread known as 'srma' or Ottoman 'sirma'.

The chest size (across the chest) is 92 cm (36.2 inches) when the vest is closed. These vests were meant to be worn open so can be added 3-5 cm to the chest size.

The height of the vest is 31 cm (12.2 inches).
