The Head is forged and then CNC machined. 

Taper head form is applied to further reduce mass without compromising strength. 

The threads are rolled onto the bolt shaft to reduce stress raising areas caused by machined threads used on some bolts. 

The finished part is shot peened and polished to give an attractive high quality finish.
