An EMU built for limited express trains between Tokyo and Osaka from 1958.

The streamlined body is said to imitate the Italian "Settebello", and the cream and red body colors are said to imitate TEE.

One of the cab coach is a premium 1st class called "Parlor Car".

It was a luxurious car with big sofas. They worked on the Tokaido Line until the Shinkansen service started in 1964, and then moved on other areas.

The model has an automatic headlight / taillight switching function. The interior fittings, especially the seats, look just like the real thing!
