This spice is the national pride of Jamaica. All parts of the plant have the allspice fragrance, and just brushing the leaves with your hand will release the scent. Fresh leaves, which are impossible to find in stores, are often used in Jamaican cooking as an herb.
The
plant was grown indoors under artificial light, DO NOT put the plant in
full sun after
receipt. The plant should be gradually acclimated to from shade to
brighter light for a period of about 1-2 months. Please ensure that the
temperature in your area is not excessively hot before purchasing.
