The Micro Seiki DDX-1000, released in Japan in 1977 during the Japanese "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a wonderful vintage turntable from a highly-regarded Japanese producer. Micro Seiki has acquired a great reputation over the years for its high-quality turntables, and this DDX-1000 meets that reputation. Similar to other Japanese turntables of the era (yet different from many Micro Seiki turntables), the DDX-1000 operates with a direct-drive DC servomotor system, for exceptional revolutions stability. It also has a great vibration damping mechanism to reduce vibrational interference. It is a highly precise unit, with a solid build quality, featuring wow and flutter of <0.025% and an SNR of> 63 dB. This turntable features a unique tonearm mounting system that's modular,The DDX-1000 is a superb turntable with exceptional mechanical engineering, a minimalist design, and incredible sound. It remains highly regarded and sought after to this day. This one includes the MD-1000 controller unit and AX-3G tonearm mount.

This unit is in very good condition overall (please see pictures), with some signs of age and use throughout, including some yellow spots, scuffs, and rust. The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation The 33 and 45 settings both work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork, as expected from Japanese products of this era, which were built for a lifetime of operation.
