Your purchases will be well packaged to protect the items.  I do however use recycled materials as often as I possibly can.  CLEAN recycled materials.  I may write thank you notes on small squares of paper that may have printing on the other side.  I place these on the outside of the plastic sleeves of the comics, books, dvd's, etc I sell so as not to harm them.  Instead of another sheet of cardboard I might cut a section from a Manila folder for extra protection from bumps and bruises during transit.  I don't like to be wasteful.
