This is part of a collection of Pre-Columbian items acquired by the wonderful artist named Annette Nancarrow in the early to mid-part of the 20th Century (1936-1972).

Nancarrow was an amazing woman, who was a United States citizen who started living in Mexico in 1936. Her peers & friends were Frida Kahlo, Rivera, Siqueiros & Orozco, met with Leon Trotsky, painted by Sandor Klein (Pulitzer Prize winner) & Igor Pantuhoff. Quite an impressive woman and had a keen taste for pre-Columbian artifacts, as you can see.
