This is an original mid-century metal record organizer with wire slots for 60 records (7", 10", or 12" size, including most double-LPs), and space at both ends for thicker albums, such as 4-LP sets, double albums with booklets, etc. On one side is a removable metal strip that numbers the slots and lists various genres and styles (i.e. instrumental, male or female vocalist, stereo, etc.). The unit measures approximately 16 3/4"  long, 7" wide, and 5 3/8" high, with slightly under 1/4" of space between the wires in most cases.

As you'll see in my photos, the organizer is in good condition overall, with light wear, light spots of corrosion, and tiny nicks. The genre strip has a dent by slot #22 and 23 in the "Classics" section. Also, the unit has obviously seen regular use, since the spaces between the wires varies from space to space--some of these wires just need to be straightened out a little (I will leave this to the next owner to avoid damage or alteration to the unit). Finally, on any flat surface, three feet will sit flat on the surface, while the 4th foot will sit about 1/8" above that surface.
