Module description:
The DAC8563 device is a low-power, voltage output, dual-channel, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The device includes a 2.5V, 4-ppm / ° C internal reference voltage source that provides a full-scale output voltage range of 2.5V or 5V. The initial accuracy of this internal voltage reference is ± 5mV and can supply or sink up to 20 mA at the VREFIN / VREFOUT pin. It has excellent linearity and minimizes the undesirable transient voltage (glitch) between codes. Using a universal three-wire serial interface, its clock frequency is up to 50 MHz. The interface is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, Microwire and digital signal processor (DSP) interfaces. The DAC8563 device is similarly powered up at the middle scale. These devices have a power-down feature that reduces the current to a typical value of 550 nA at 5 V. Low power consumption, internal reference voltage source and small footprint make these devices ideal for portable battery-powered equipment. Usually used for programmable voltage source, instrument and control system, sensor excitation, motion process control.
