The Modern Boy Magazine was a classic magazine for boys that ran 1928 to 1939 and stories and articles aimed at school-boys - some complete stories and others serials running over a number of issues. Featuring many authors, including W. E. Johns and Biggles’ tales - the stories are full of adventure, spies, school life and derring-do! These Pre-War issues are particularly interesting. Additionally, the adverts are fascinating!

  • Ken King Steps In! by Charles Hamilton

  • When Nelson Was a Modern Boy
  • Captain Justice’s Peril! by Murray Roberts
  • Who Sails With Me? by Maurice Everard
