Davy Holland Music

is an on-line wind instrument dealer dedicated to serving Professional Musicians as well as their Aspiring Students.

We have more than 30 years experience in the sales and service of Wind Instruments. All of our instruments all carefully checked and play-tested before shipment.

We regularly see Top Dutch Saxophone Players as well as their students for anything from a slight adjustment to a full overhaul.

We realize the difficulty of purchasing a Wind Instrument without playing it first and therefore extend a 1 week trial period.

Vintage KING Zephyr SPECIAL Alto Saxophone

 Nr. 269441

This King Zephyr Special Alto Saxophone was made in the mid 1940's. It has a very broad, warm and exciting sound.

Although the lacquer has worn off in places the instrument is in very good condition with very little damage having been done to it. There is a bit of mother of pearl missing from the G# lever but this does not in any way detract from the sound or playability, nor detract from the overall appearance

This King Zephyr has been played intensively and has the traces to demonstrate this. However, in our experience, well played horns tend to be very good horns. For why would a good player, who uses his/her instrument intensively, play on a less than superior instrument.

We have meticulously re-padded this King Zephyr Special Alto using Pisoni DeLuxe Pads. It is in perfect playing condition and will serve some experienced alto sax player for years to come.
