This is a new first edition in average condition.  It was published by Faber and Faber Limited in 1953.

Condition:

Book - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, a slight spine lean, foxing, discolouration and some bending to the covers, opens v.easily to a few pages (binding showing through in a couple of places), some bumping to a few page corners, some 'crinkling' to a few pages, some marking to the page edges and a couple of pages, discolouration to the page edges and a few pages, soft even tanning to the pages and there is a previous owner's bookplate inside.

Dust Jacket - Poor - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, numerous nicks and tears (many large), some loss and marking, discolouration and creasing.  The DJ is in two pieces!

The DJ is price clipped.

The DJ is in a protective plastic sleeve (non-adhesive).
