Honolulu Sake Brewery & Ice Co. Ltd. was one of only 5 Hawaii Breweries open during the period following Prohibition in1934. They were open for only 8 years (1934-1942) which was considered long at the time, as business was slow to pick up after the ban of alcohol in 1920-1933.
