Ultimate custom made and British made Ventile Bug Bivy /Swag Bag/Bedroll with waxed canvas base and removable/spare bug net over face area

Ideal for use on its own, under a tarp or tent, near the open fire or as extra protection in bothies and huts. Combines the use of bivies in the usual British sense of it with the comfort of more breathable and traditional bedrolls in the USA or swags in Australia

Waterproof genuine Ventile upper (not fully waterproof in my opinion but very water resistant while remaining breathable which is far more important or you’ll wake up damp and clammy (stinky !?)

Base is 10 Oz heavy duty British Millerain dry wax

A full 5m of main zips: 1m across the chest and 4m around the perimeter with double sided zipper pulls and leather cord

Removable bug net so can be used without one in winter and comes with a spare in case one gets lost or damaged

Leather loops enable the bug net or bag to be hung from a branch or a sapling to be threaded through to make a hoop to keep the netting off the face

Sizes are usually around 100cm wide 220cm long and about 20cm deep but as each is made individually this can be modified as needed. Colours of fabrics, leather and zips can also be changed

First picture shows olive coloured Ventile and the second forest green ventile. Pads and quilts are not included in the sale, sale is for the bivy only

Build time is around 10 days but your best messaging me to check and to perhaps change colours or get a better fit for your needs
