Description - This listing is for 1 DVD containing 13 episodes of A Life In Your Hands.
"A
Life In Your Hands" was a murder/melodrama and courtroom procedural
program broadcast that served as a summer replacement show alternating
on NBC and ABC during its run from 1949-52.
"Jonathan Kegg", the
fictitious hero of "A Life In Your Hands", represented neither the
prosecution nor the defense in these murder stories, but was allowed to
examine witnesses on both sides in order to learn the truth. Ned
LeFevre, Carleton KaDell and Lee Bowman all played the role of "Jonathan
Kegg, amicus curiae (friend of the court)".
It is commonly
stated that Erle Stanley Gardner of "Perry Mason" fame developed and
wrote scripts for this series, but in reality, he contributed his name
only.
