Tintypes pictures were actually produced on a thin sheet of iron with a dark lacquer or enamel coat which produced a unique positive Image. This Tintype is in a cardboard shell with writing on the back. There is minor enamel bubbling. I offer the front only of this picture as there were not marks or information on the back. Please inspect the pictures provided as they speak of the overall condition. (The Size Of The Card Is 4" x 2 1/2" The Actual Size Of The Tin Type Is 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".)
