A lovely pair of silver sweetmeat or bonbons dishes or bowls with intricate piercing work beneath a strong gadrooned rim and a reeded pattern to the bowls moving towards the centre of the base. Perfect for sweets, nuts and other delicacies. They were assayed in  Birmingham in 1911 and were made by Edward Souter Barnsley.

Made of Sterling silver they have clear crisp hallmarks just under their respective rims. They also each carry the design registration number to their bases.

They measure 5 ins (13 cms) across and are about 1.5 ins high (3cm).

Weight: 147 gms.

Condition: Overall excellent condition, no major dings dents or repairs. Silver is a soft material and there is the normal very light surface scratching only giving a nice silver patina in keeping with its age. Makers marks are clear.
