19th Century Napoleon III French Antique Burr Walnut Inlaid Tea Caddy

Beautiful antique French Tea Caddy from the Napoleon III style period circa 1850's - 1890s

The curved fronted box is beautifully made and superbly inlaid with different types of wood including burr walnut with gilded / brass trim and intricately inlayed lock and monogram with an additional feature of mother of pearl decoration.
The interior has two compartments for tea with original lids and the burr walnut inlayed decorative lid.

The tea caddy is in excellent condition and has a warm old patina. With only minor imperfections which are in keeping with age.
