This is an elegant and chic evening dress by designer David Meister.

Rich deep purple.
Polyester and spandex - slight stretch.
This dress seems inspired by the 30's or 40's, with it's elegant draping, svelte columnar fit, and brooch-like rhinestone accents at the shoulders. It is very statuesque. Reminds me of something Wallis Simpson Duchess of Windsor would have worn.
Wide pleated/draped neckline.
Prong set red and purple rhinestone detail at shoulders
Long darts through torso for a shapely fit.
The "sleeve" is a cape-like construction that flows into a dramatic drape in back.
Pleated at waist / ruched effect.
Straight skirt, flared at the hem.
Invisible back zip.
Lined with silky satin.
