Gorgeous 19th century silk and bobbin lace collar.  This collar was done by a very experienced lace maker as the lace is ornate and very delicately done.  The solid silk area has 1 tiny hole and 1 tiny stain - appropriate for age.(shown)

There are a couple of hard to find, tiny breaks in the lace webbing.  There is a seam in the silk but I do not believe that was a repair.  I believe it was originally how it was made.   Aside from mentioned, collar is in excellent condition and would be a lovely addition to any collection!!
