Associated Hobby Manufacturers, Inc. (AHM) Catalog; Train Newspaper Ads (1970s) - This 47-page catalog contains content for trains, but also does have cars, infantry, military vehicles and more.  Most of the content is in black and white, but some model advertisements are in color.  I have not been able to determine the date of origin - it could be the late '60s but may be the early '70s.  Text on page #26 references Arthur D. Dubin's "Some Classic Trains" which was published during both time periods.  However, included with this collectible are some train advertisements (they were in between pages #26-#27) and they list 1974.

The catalog is in good, not perfect, condition.  The cover, which has retained nice color, and all pages, which are off-white to cream colored (except pages #26-#27 which have a dust shadow) are firmly attached.  The top right-hand corner has an approx. 3/4" crease, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 3" crease that extends through the entire catalog; the spine has multiple stress creases - the biggest approx. 3/4" under the illustration; pages #15-#16 have a dog-eared bottom corner; the back inside page was miscut during the printing process and has paper overhang; the back cover has a chipped top left-hand corner (approx. 1/2" is missing), there is a tear with paper pull-back at the bottom AHM logo.

It includes several ads (a single page one from Woolworth; one from Crosby's Hobby Centre, a partial one from Ann & Hope).  The paper quality is cream- to tan-colored.
