Plastic. Wind it up, drop a coin in the slot and the mouse travels the circle and drops it inside. Nice condition. Box has some damage  on the bottom and has a tear in the lid but is intact. Just a cute addition to a collection. If you have any questions please ask and thanks for looking. A445
