Roman Silver Legionary Seal Ring with Aquila

 A substantial silver ring with a solid band, enlarged arms and large oval encasement housing a oval black intaglio with the image of legionary eagle with open wings, stepping over a snake, holding a wealth. Mirrored inscription under the eagle LEG XI. Incrustation technique over the both shoulders and surround the bezel. Large wearable size;17grams, 23.5 mm max internal diameter, 30.22mm max external diameter.
