Before I tell you about this wonderful telephone just a quick note about ourselves...
We have been buying/restoring/selling and collecting all manner of Antique Telephones for over 25 years now, this being my husbands part of the business ~ DEJA VU ANTIQUES you may have seen our advert in Period Living Magazine from which we have run a successful mail order business from their first issue back in 1990, which really began as an extension of our Antiques Shop and as our own personal collection of antique telephones grew far too large !!
We have a huge portfolio of happy customers including many celebrities such as a Spice Girl (who will remain unamed) historic hotel renovations along with supplying the BBC, ITV, major Theatre groups and have just supplied Bletchley Park War Museum with all their telephone so do buy with confidence !
THE RESTORATION
All restoration work is done by ourselves in our onsite workshop and has been for the past 25 years each one being lovingly restored back to its former glory, converted for modern day usage and finished with a visit to our onsite polishing-shop where the grime of decades is removed and the bakelite brought back to the condition it would have been when originally installed into someones home all those years ago !!!
All come complete with modern BT plug with black lead to enable you to plug in and away you go....all microphones are checked and if working fine are left in situ as there is no need to change however if there is a problem it will be replaced...
We have a house full of these old telephones which are used on a daily basis and no telephone leaves here if it is not in a condition I would be happy to have in my own home....so please do buy with confidence !!
ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR TELEPHONE
A VINTAGE ART DECO GECOPHONE FROM THE 1930'S
MODEL ~ This wonderful Art Deco telephone is a big favourite of mine as I just dont think you can beat this glorious shape...I have this model plugged in and use it daily in our family room and it has truly fabulous " vintage" bells !!!
It is the first telephone with an original built in bell before the 300 series became popular as unlike the 200 series it did not need a seperate bell box but comes complete with an original internal bell which has a superb vintage ring to it !!!
This particular model hails from the 1930's and is in fine fettle for a gal of this age !!
Prior to our "throw away" society these wonderful telephones were repaired if needed or refurbished and put into someone elses home ~ a lesson in recycling we could do with taking heed of....
HANDSET ~ With mint condition sheathed handset cord
DIAL ~ original chrome dial with numbers in black .......
BASE ~ has rubber feet in superb condition
CONDITION ~ The overall condition of this wonderful telephone is MINT......it has been lovingly restored to a very high standard with gleaming bakelite...no damage or repairs
Please note all our photographs show the natural restored sheen of bakelite and unlike others have not been sprayed with artificial silicone for photographic purposes

As previously stated we have a house full of these wonderful old telephones in use on a daily basis and please rest assured that no telephone leaves here unless it is in a condition I would be pleased to have in my own home....
Dont forget ofcourse that these wonderful old telephones will continue to work in the event of a power cut unlike the modern plug in telephones, a great feature if like ourselves you live quite rural and can guarantee a power cut or two in the winter months !!
ALL TELEPHONES COME WITH WRITTEN 5 YEAR PARTS & LABOUR GUARANTEE (PROVIDED IT HAS NOT BEEN TAMPERED WITH IN ANY WAY ) does not cover misuse or accidental damage, return postage to be met by purchaser

Whilst every effort is made to send items within a few days of cleared payment we also run a busy vintage & interiors business so during our busy spells a little more time may be needed ~ therefore ~ please allow upwards of a week or so during busy periods and School holidays etc.....IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM IN A HURRY PLEASE EMAIL...IF WE DONT KNOW WE CANT HELP and we will always do our best to get your item out on time....
All items are extremely well packed in recycled materials where possible.
We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged within the postal system,if you wish to insure your item please advise at point of sale, however, we always obtain proof of posting and will assist in any such claims
Most items are quoted for 1st class delivery but if you have any particular delivery requirements such as special delivery/recorded delivery etc please request at time of purchase as this must be charged as an extra
Terms of Sale
All items to be paid in full as per payment details before any items will be despatched.....all cheques must have cleared the banking system and please note it takes SEVEN FULL WORKING DAYS for a cheque to legally clear the system also please note before sending a cheque that we live quite rural and cannot make daily trips to the bank therefore if needing an item quickly I would suggest you use paypal or postal order although a crossed postal order must also clear the banking system as if a cheque.....
We do not offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase, if you have a damaged or faulty item please email upon receipt wherby we will be pleased to address your concerns.....postage on any accepted returns to be met by purchaser(
