JADE VINE

This famous vine is a tropical rainforest species originally from the Philippines, it has aquamarine
coloured flowers, sharing thatfeature with only two other plants in the world! It is an evergreen vine with thick, woody stemreaching lengths of 25 metres in good conditions.
Rare and endangered the luminous flower of this vine glows like jade in the night to attract bats;
its natural pollinators. A joy to see in bloom.

It is often grown on a pergola which allows dozens of pendulous blooms to cascade from, the
