An iconic Jean Varon floaty, sheer, 1970s cape dress

This beautiful dress is sleeveless with a built-in, floaty, sheer blue over integrated cape. The under dress black and translucent flowing over a burgundy lining giving a tonic effect The boatneck cape is a beautiful blue with small flower detailing edged in a sea green paisley like design , there are ties at the wrists to allow floaty movement while staying in position the ends of the integrated cape has black tassel detail part of the dress is lined in acetate. There are decorative ties on each side of the cape. Rear zip fastening with hook and eye at the nape of neck

In excellent vintage condition and a beautiful dress by the iconic John Bates designer under his label Jean Varon
