This is a highest quality of work O-Natsume tea caddy made by a topnotch Makie artist UMEDA Rantei (梅田蘭亭) using only best quality materials such as real gold.

The design or theme of this O-Natsume is 'Fuku-Zukushi' (福尽くし in Japanese), which means 'Filled with Auspicious and Prosperous Items'. The artist drew the word 'Fuku-Zukushi' and signed on the box (Photo. #2). 
 
The O-Natsume is decorated with the seven items (e.g., red snapper, magic mallet, lute, etc.) using Makie technique, which are believed to bring prosperity and good luck to people. 

It is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks at all.  
White (shining) parts on photographs are reflection of light, i.e., no flaw or blemish at all .
