Tuareg Tent Peg Saharan / Morroccan / Sawhari luggage carrier.  64cm, With Leather Strap.

Typically made of Jdari wood (Rhus tripartita). Known as tiareg Tent pegs but apparently these were used as one of 4 legs to create a luggage carrier.

Decorated with geometric carvings on one side.

Some damage to back of rounded head and loss of detail at tapered end. Lovely carvings. Great item.
