This spectacular dress is a true vintage one-of-a-kind piece from the mid-century era of the 1960s/1970s. Comprised of buttery soft, draping Black Velvet, Satin ribbon & bow at the empire waist and the most unbelievable krewl/embroidery along the bottom, with a dramatic peak upwards in the center front and going along the entire bottom of the dress.

One of the prettiest and most unique mid-century vintage dresses I have ever come across.

No size tag, guessing a large or extra large, but....

LOTS OF ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS IN PHOTOS.

Fantastic vintage condition. Original metal zipper up the back works perfectly, the Black Velvet has no holes, tears, split seems, funky odors or fading. The black is deep dark black. The only very slight flaw then I can find is the satin ribbon that goes around the empire waist is attached to the dress in several places & one of these places the stitches have been pulled away and has left a very small defect to the black ribbon. This can be clearly seen in the last photo. (Photo #22)
