Lledo Days Gone Diecast Model
DG3
Horse Drawn Delivery Van
ILCC (International Lledo Collectors Club ?)
Limited Edition - No. 18

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, taking over a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series.

The Horse Drawn Delivery Van was one of the original line-up of models in the Days Gone range, introduced in 1983. The promotional market became Lledo's bread and butter, with companies and organisations able to order limited runs of a model with their own livery, as promotional or souvenir items.

This model was produced for the ILCC (International Lledo Collectors CLub?) to promote the "World of Lledo". It was a Limited Edition run, and the model comes with a Certificate showing that this model was registered to Member No. 18.

Good used condition. In original box and complete with Certificate. Box has minimal wear, and no serious rips or splits and no taped-up corners. There is some writing on the base of the box, where a previous owner, an avid collector of lledo models, has recorded brief details about the model. Model itself is clean and near mint condition. Only one of three figures that probably would have come with the model. See photos - all photos show actual item.
