VR6 2.8/2.9l (12 valve) Stainless steel coolant ‘crack’ pipe in satin black powder coat
For sale here we have
a stainless steel replacement water pipe for your Golf, Corrado, Passat,
Sharan, Vento or Transporter VR6, 12 valve. Engine codes: AAA, ABV, AES and
AFP.
This stainless steel
coolant pipe replaces the standard plastic water pipe that runs across the
front of the engine from the water pump to the thermostat, the most recent part
number for the standard part is 021121050C.
The standard plastic
pipe is prone to cracking, splitting and generally breaking even more so at
the age/mileage these types of engines have achieved these days.
This stainless steel
replacement pipe is made from 316 and 408 stainless steel, comprising of CNC
machined parts and all TIG weld construction, these pipes are far more corrosion
and wear resistant than the standard plastic type.
These pipes are supplied ready to fit. They are pressure tested to 1.5 BAR, are fitted with a reusable dowty washer on the drain plug and come fitted with Vitron o-rings pre-installed.
This sale is for the satin black powder coated version. Please see 'sellers other listings' here you will also find 24v, V5 and plain media blasted varieties. Alternatively we can offer to custom powder coat your pipe in pretty much any colour but please contact before hand as additional lead time will be incurred. Other coatings such as chrome plating and polishing can also be arranged at a further cost.

fit. Please double check that your engine is indeed a VW/Audi 12 valve VR6
engine and that the part number for the standard part (021121050C) is correct
