Rare antique English? spoon warmer as a stylized Cherubic child opening the mouth of a dolphin. These were filled with hot water in the 1800s to warm a spoon as to not be to cold to use. It is white decorated in blue. His face is painted beautifully. The mark is an underglazed "V over a V". Fantastic condition! A real treasure.
