This is a beautiful intricate exampleof a Victorian walking / dress stick made from a converted umbrella cane (aswas the fashion of the time). Nicely designed handle which fits ergonomicallyin your hand when walking.

As you can see from the photos thegold is stamped C.S. 18cGP, there are two hallmarks present one above and onebelow the mother of pearl inlay

Length 35in, also present in thephotos are the indentations of where the umbrella mechanism would have been onthe cane originally

Very nice example and still perfectly usable or great for display, does show signs of use commensurate with age
