1. Loosen the tire:Remove the valve cap and valve core and deflate the air. Use the tire head loosener to remove the tire head.
2.Remove the tire:Clamp the tire on the tire changer and adjust the valve relative to the 1 o'clock position of the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool, lift the tire head onto the mounting head and remove the head.
3. Remove the sensor:Remove the screw nut from the valve stem, then remove the sensor assembly from the rim.
4. Install the sensor and valve: connect the sensor body to the valve stem at a suitable angle (usually use a maximum angle of 30 degrees) and tighten the screws.
5. Remove the screw nut from the valve stem.
6. Slide the stem through the valve hole in the valve ring, with the sensor located on the inside of the valve ring.
7. Tighten the 4.0 nm screw nut with the help of the locating pin.
8. Install the tire:Place the tire on the rim, making sure that the valve is at an angle of 180 degrees to the separation head. Put the tire on the rim.
Caution.
-Tire pressure alarm sensor assembly is a replacement or maintenance part for vehicles with factory installed tire pressure alarms.
-Make sure to program the sensor for your specific model, model and year using the Autel Sensor Programming Tool prior to installation.
-Do not install a pre-programmed TPMS sensor on a damaged wheel.
-For optimal function, the sensor should only be installed with the original valves and accessories supplied by Autel.
-After installation is complete, test the vehicle TPMS system using the procedures described in the original manufacturer's user guide to confirm proper installation.
-Every time a tire is serviced or removed, or a sensor is removed or replaced, the rubber ring, gasket, nut and valve core must be replaced with our parts to ensure proper sealing. When the sensor is severely damaged, the sensor must be replaced.
-Autel MX-Sensor arrives blank and must be programmed prior to installation or at 0 PSI/kPa using the Autel TPMS service tool
-Do not race a vehicle with a snapin MX-Sensor installed, always drive below 180km/h for metal valve sensors and below 240km/h for rubber stem sensors.
