This is the ultimate & most desirable custom color Jazz Bass in 100% untouched original condition. I sold this exact Bass to a good friend in Key West back in 1989 & just got it back. I planned on keeping it now for life, BUT another toy is in the works w/4 wheels & now she’s up for the 1st time being uncirculated for the last 35 years . It has its original Fiesta Red finish w/its white undercoat over a very lightweight Alder body w/a Matching Fiesta Red Headstock. Its “Unbound” rosewood veneer Clay Dot neck is super slim & she has an ink stamped date from September 1964. Its original Green Nitro pickgard has that luscious color used only from 1960-4. Its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jaco” sound ! Its pots date codes are from the 40th week of 1964 & its original control cavity has the earliest type copper solder plates. It's so cool from its nickel tuners to its threaded saddle bridge. It's all original in all respects & still retains its bridge & pickup covers along with every single screw from new. It plays & feels incredible w/lots of patina & play wear all over but so frickin cool. She’s very good overall & still betta than most, 1 of the best & most desirable examples on Earth. Check out our photo as it's next to our 1960 Fender Strat in the matching Fiesta Red finish just 4 years apart. She comes with in her exceedingly rare original White Tolex/Orange lined Hard Case.
