When  operated the whale moves on 3 wheels and an air stream keeps the ball suspended in mid-air.  Marked on underside "Billy" The Ball Blowing Magic Whale, KO in diamond and Made In Japan, fixed key on left side,  6" x 2.7" x 4" high, ball is .8" diameter.  In original lidded box with chromolithographed lid, 6.5" x 3" x 4" high. Made by Yoshiya (1950 - 1970) also known as Kobe Yoko Ltd.  was a major Japanese toy maker from the post war period. Yoshiya -known by their mark KO- specialized in mostly  mechanical or wind-up toys featuring fanciful designs except for one corner of the box top that has been reinforced on the inside with archival tape, this toy and box are in great condition,  possibly never played
