This item is for eight (8) STANDARD bore hypereutectic, coated skirt pistons and a moly piston ring set for Mercruiser, Volvo-Penta, and other marine applications using the Chevrolet/GM 5.7L (350ci) Vortec-series V-8 engine. P/N (8) 3470HC-STD + 2M4860-STD.
FALCON TECH NOTE: The easiest way to determine if you have a Vortec-series engine is by the number of bolts used to attach the intake manifold to the cylinder heads. The Vortec engine uses a total of eight (8) bolts; while the earlier engines use twelve (12) bolts.
