Normally lenses of this age, serial number below 100.000(#92230), probably 1931/32,
infinity position at 11o’clock when mounted on the camera are nickel plated and without coating. This lens the nickel plating was taken off by the works, factory chromed, coated and the infinity lock button was replaced by a normal later one. Scale is in meters and has no ‘R’ infrared indication.
Be aware that 11 o’clock infinity lock lenses do not work on range finder cameras with a slow shutter speed dial that sits on front of the camera
Note, front element shows 3 tiny scuffs in the glass. (SEE PICTURES)
Lens shows some signs of prior use and is in very good overall condition. Shows scuffing, no scratches, no dings, some paint rub off. The elements are overall in good condition. Shows no cleaning marks, no scratches, no haze, no fungus, no separation. Shows no dust particles inside. Aperture blades show some wear and are clean. Open and close smooth. Focus turns very smooth. Lens comes without caps.
