This is a rare original box of Dimick & Austin Lightning Dress Stays. There are 16 pieces left in the box. These are size 8 (8 inches long). They are probably from around the 1880's.
The box would look great displayed in your sewing room or general store. And if you collect 1800s clothing, the stays might be useful.
