Very rare pair of serving spoons stamped with the Newcastle assay office dating from the Georgian period. Newcastle assay office closed in 1883. Both spoons are in great condition with initials to the handles, please see the pictures. The English hallmark can be seen to the rear of the handle Newcastle assay with the date letter for the year 1812. The makers mark can also be seen here for Reid & Sons (Christian Ker Reid, David Reid & Christian Bruce Reid). Wonderful and very rare pair of serving spoons.
